Dr. Joshua Schwimmer is a board-certified nephrologist and internal medicine doctor — a kidney and blood pressure specialist and general medical doctor for adults — based in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Dr. Schwimmer grew up in Brooklyn and lives in NYC with his wife, daughter, and French bulldog.
An award-winning teacher, Dr. Schwimmer trained in nephrology and internal medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, Strong Memorial Hospital, and the University of Rochester Medical Center. He has been appointed to the faculty of Lenox Hill Hospital, the Mount Sinai Medical Center, and the NYU School of Medicine, and he has published more than 25 scientific papers, abstracts, and book chapters.
