Dr. Joshua Schwimmer is a board-certified nephrologist (kidney and blood pressure specialist) and internist (general medical doctor) based in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.

Dr. Schwimmer completed advanced training in nephrology at the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, where he was a Clinical Instructor of Medicine and an award-winning teacher of physicians-in-training. He is currently Assistant Director of Nephrology at Lenox Hill Hospital, an Attending Physician at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, a Lecturer in the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the NYU School of Medicine, and has published more than 25 scientific papers, book chapters, interviews, and abstracts. Dr. Schwimmer has received outstanding reviews from patients and his practice is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized, high-quality care.
